Brad Keselowski may progress every weekend in the events of Nascar Sprint Cup, this is the first time that the Team Penske driver was able to test a car IndyCar.
“I always wanted to drive an IndyCar, I think Tim Cindric (Team Penske competition president) knew that,” said the driver of the No. 2 Ford who has 248 Sprint Cup starts.
The 2012 Sprint Cup champion drove the car simon pagenaud this Wednesday, June 15 during a test session organized at Road America (Wisconsin). The Championship leader completed a few laps before giving way to the Nascar driver.
“I have great respect for him and his No. 22 Menards team. They did a great job (yesterday) and I had a lot of fun with them. Simon was very quick and gave me a good hare to follow. I learned a ton, it was a hell of a day at Road America”, added Brad Keselowski.
“The Gs received in corners and when braking are impressive, continued Joey Logano's teammate. You have to trust yourself. While a stock car will do anything to destroy it, it's vital to have it on an IndyCar. You have to sort of forget all your cues from a stock car to perform well on these single-seaters. It's quite a process but it's fun to discover. »
