The fastest was Nick Cassidy (Virgin), author of the track record. The New Zealander, who is preparing to get back on track in Super Formula a few months after acquiring the title, edged out the Brazilian Sergio Sette Câmara (Dragon) during the afternoon session, who is looking to bounce back in IndyCar in 2020.

The regularEndurance Filipe Albuquerque (DS Techeetah) finished the day of driving on the Moulay-El-Hassan route in third position.

A nice contingent of four French drivers took part in these Rookie Tests. The best Habs was the experienced one Nicolas lapierre (DS Techeetah, 4th), ahead of Norman Nato (Venturi, 6th).

Sacha Fenestraz (Jaguar) closes the top 10 with more convincing times than those of his one-day colleague Jamie Chadwick while Frédéric Makowiecki (Porsche) is 24th.
