FE – Valencia chosen for pre-season testing

Since the creation of the championship in 2014, the pre-season tests of the Formula E have always taken place on the Donington Park route in England. This fall, testing will take place at the Valencia circuit in Spain.

The shift in the calendar with the start of the season in December is certainly the main reason for this change, with Spain being more suitable than Great Britain in autumn. It is also the first time that the Iberian country has hosted the electric car championship.

The 10 teams entered for the fourth season of FE will be entitled to three days of testing on the 3.09km track on October 2, 3 and 5 at the rate of two three-hour sessions per day. October 4 will be reserved for Roborace testing as a support series for the FE.

Although the Ricardo Tormo circuit is one of the favorites of the teams of F1 for private testing, it has never hosted a Grand Prix while the city was host to the European Grand Prix for a few years. The Valencia circuit is best known for being the scene of the last round of the racing season. MotoGP.
