The capricious weather disrupted the different strategies of the 124 drivers entered this weekend at Châteauroux, notably with a wet track during the elimination phases.

Winner of the intermediate classification and his semi-final, Julien Fébreau (208 RX1) was well on his way to making it to the final, on a wet track. Alas, “the voice of F1 » on Canal+ spun and lost all hope of victory.

From then on, Damien Meunier (Polo RX1) provisionally inherited first place. Indeed, the young driver from Pont-de-Ruan saw Florent Béduneau (208 RX1) supplant him at the end of the Tour Joker. Author of a “bad start”, Béduneau plunged from the start in the Tour Joker and moved up the hierarchy lap after lap, while taking advantage of the racing events. First to cross the finish line, Béduneau became the third driver to win a French Championship final this year.

Damien Meunier fully enjoyed a promising second place ahead of Samuel Peu (208 RX1), new leader of the French Championship.

In Super1600, Anthony Paillardon won an Audi A1 RX3 for the first time in France.  With this second victory of the season, Paillardon took the opportunity to reduce the gap on Jimmy Terpereau (C2 RX3),  second in Indre ahead of Romain Barré (208 RX3).

Still in the final of the Junior Championship since the start of the season, Mathieu Fretin (Clio Rally5 RX) enjoyed his first victory in the discipline ahead of Luc Derrien (Clio Rally5 RX) and Valentin Lumet (Clio Rally5 RX).

Winner at Lessay for the first meeting of the season, Amélie Moliexe (Twingo R1 RX) doubled the lead at Châteauroux and got back into the title race for the French Women's Cup. Third behind Marine Danveau (Twingo R1 RX), Chanel Launay (Twingo R1 RX) retained leadership in the provisional classification.

In good form this Sunday, Anthony Pelfrene (Clio 4 T3F) scored his first victory of the season and took the lead in the Coupe de France D3. Yann le Lay (207 F2000) won his duel against Jean-François Blaise (Clio 4 F2000) during the Division 4 final.
