FIA moves to save international rallycross

The call for tenders, launched three months ago by the FIA ​​to find a promoter for a World Championship Rallycross on life support, came up empty. Based on this observation, the FIA ​​had no choice but to take over the organisation and promotion of World RX, as well as its continental equivalent, Euro RX, from 2025.

The calendars will be presented on March 14 after validation by the World Council, and will offer seven (World RX) and six (Euro RX) rounds.

Unlike previous years, the events will be broadcast live on the Internet for free. As for the “Battle of Technologies” between RX1e cars and thermal vehicles, it will be back this year. “The FIA ​​is investing not only in Rallycross, but also in the future of our sport ", said Mohammed Ben Sulayem, present on all fronts recently.
