The biggest motorsport fans of Ille-et-Vilaine will all be mobilized this weekend to attend the Rallycross of Lohéac. Indeed, the lair of national rallycross hosts the round of the French championship, which is no longer part of the world circuit since the new era of World RX and the switch to electric.
For this new edition, the Lohéac Rallycross has put on its best clothes. In addition to the usual French championship competitors, some major players from the international scene have responded, such as Niclas Grönholm on the i20 RX of the PGRX team and Johan Kristoffersson on a VW Polo KMS 601.
Last year's winner, Sébastien Loeb will not be there, the nine-time world rally champion preparing for Mont-Blanc Morzine the following weekend with a Alpine A110 GT+ from Ludovic Godard's team.
At the program level, this Lohéac Rallycross will begin with the traditional Parade scheduled for Friday at 14:30 p.m. before the start of driving at 17:00 p.m. with the first practice session.
On Saturday, the participants will take to the track from 8:00 am for two new practice sessions before Rounds 1 and 2 from 10:30 am to 19:00 pm. The Village Ball and the fireworks are then scheduled for 21:30 pm and 23:30 pm respectively.
On Sunday, round 3 is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. before the finals start ceremony at 14:00 p.m. The podiums are scheduled for 17:30 p.m.
