For the first time in its history, the World Championship of rallycross (World RX) will compete in an event in the city center. The event will take place on the streets of Hong Kong, and will serve as the finale of the 2023 season on November 11-12.

Inaugurated in 2014, the World RX has never visited the Asian continent in its nine years of existence. The Hong Kong event is to be organized for three years by the Hong Kong Automobile Association (HKAA). “It’s clear we are in a spectacular location and Victoria Harbor and the CBD will provide a stunning backdrop for our season finale, rejoices Arne Dirks, Managing Director of Rallycross Promoter GmbH, promoter of World RX. It has been a pleasure to collaborate in such a positive and proactive way with the HKAA and HKSAR to make this vision a reality. »

The 2023 World RX calendar now includes 10 rounds at eight different circuits:
June 3-4: Montalegre (Portugal)
June 17-18: Hell (Norway)
July 1-2: Höljes (Sweden)
July 22-23: Lydden Hill (England)
August 5-6: Mettet (Belgium)
August 19-20: Estering (Germany)
October 7-8: Cape Town (South Africa)
November 11-12: Hong Kong (China)
