Lessay: Davy Jeanney sets the tone

Starting from the third row of the Supercar final, Davy Jeanney won the first round of the French Championship.

Winner of Q3 and Q4, Davy Jeanney (Skoda Fabia) had a bit of a scare in his semi-final, taking 4th place.

Positioned on the second row, the Skoda driver got off to a good start and positioned himself behind Damien Meunier (Audi S1) and “JB” Dubourg (208), the two leaders.

Jeanney pushed for all seven laps and moved into the joker lap at the last moment. A winning strategy that allowed him to start the season with a victory.

Valentin Lumet (Super1600), Dylan Léger (Junior), Mélanie Seignard (Women), Nicolas Beauclé (Division 3) and Arthur Barbault-Forget (Division 4) won in their respective categories.
