Lessay Rallycross – Good start for Fébreau

The Lessay circuit in Manche is hosting the first round of the French Rallycross Championship this weekend. Julien Fébreau (Supercar) and David Bouet (Super1600) finished the first day in the lead.

Lessay Rallycross – Good start for Fébreau

Engaged for a program of four races in the French Championship with the 208 RX1 of DA Racing, Julien Fébreau could not imagine a better debut. Indeed, “the voice of F1 » on Canal + won the first two qualifying rounds contested this Saturday.

Fourth in Q1, David Vincent (208 RX1) took third place in Q2. A consistency which allowed the Breton driver to be provisionally second in front of Romuald Delaunay (DS 3 RX1), the 2021 French Vice-champion.

Title holder, Samuel Peu (208 RX1) was content with 15th time in Q1 before returning to the top of the timesheet with a 2nd place in Q2. David Fèvre (208 RX1) completed the provisional Top 5 of this first day.

In Super1600, David Bouet, reigning French Junior Champion, entered this first meeting of the season with a Fabia RX3 before returning to the Clio RSR RX3 in the next race. Fourth in Q1, Bouet won in the following “qualifying” to take the lead of the Super1600 ahead of Dylan Dufas (Clio RSR RX3), winner of Q1. Candidate for the Champion title, Jimmy Terpereau (C2 RX3) completed the provisional podium.

Lessay also hosted the first round of the Junior Championship, contested with the Clio RSR RXs. Second in Q1 then winner of the last qualifying heat of the day, Valentin Lumet was ahead of Mathieu Fretin and Luc Derrien on the evening of this first day.

Rallycross France

As for the Coupe de France, Nicolas Beauclé (Mercedes Class A) dominated Division 3 by winning both qualifying rounds. In Division 4, Jean-Mickaël Guérin (206 RC) and Tony Bardeau (Honda Civic) shared the heat victories. The first city finished the first day in first place ahead of Bordeaux. Back in Rallycross, Tom Daunat (206) climbed onto the provisional podium.

Determined to win the Women's Cup contested with the Twingo R1 RXs, Amélie Moliexe took first place ahead of Mélanie Lefrançois, the fastest in Q1. At home, Chanel Launay occupied provisional third place.
