World RX - Latvia entry list revealed

In Latvia (September 3-4), the World RX will find the same 8 competitors as in Norway, for the 2nd round of the electric era. There will also be 18 entries in Euro RX1.

We take the same and start again. One month after the first round of the 2022 season in Norway, World RX will meet the 8 crews in Latvia, for the first double-header of the calendar. In Riga, the second meeting of the electric era of rallycross will be made up of the same drivers as at Hell at the beginning of August.

Among the 8 drivers competing, we will notably find Johan Kristoffersson (Kristoffersson Motorsport – Volkswagen), winner of the first event in Norway. Last year's victory in Riga proved to be the catalyst for the Swede's end to the season, which ultimately resulted in the fourth title of his career. The Hansen brothers, Timmy and Kevin (Hansen World RX Team – Peugeot ) will also be there.

Le plateau sera plus complet en Euro RX1, avec 18 équipages alignés pour l’épreuve lettone. Andreas Bakkerud, invité star et vainqueur du dernier meeting en Norvège, ne sera évidemment pas présent. En revanche, Janis Baumanis (#YellowSquad – Peugeot) sera présent à domicile pour chercher la victoire. Le Letton, qui a triomphé sur son sol en 2021, tentera de combler l’écart au classement du titre avec le leader du championnat, Anton Marklund (SET Promotion – Hyundai), qui a remporté deux des trois épreuves jusqu’à présent.
