Just a few days after the arrival of the Dakar 2024, which saw Carlos Sainz to impose itself on Audi, the 2025 edition is already starting to appear. On January 31, for the first time, spectators will be able to see a first prototype of the future Dacia, who will take part in the next Dakar rally. The Romanian manufacturer will unveil a first model during the Rétromobile show (Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, Paris 15th).

The Dacia rally-raid, whose name is still unknown at this stage, will take part in the Dakar and the W2RC world championship with its three star drivers: Sébastien Loeb, Nasser Al-Attiyah and Cristina Gutiérrez. The project will be led by teams fromAlpine Racing, at Viruses-Châtillon, while the car will be operated by the Prodrive team, already present on the Dakar in recent years with the Hunter T1+.

As a reminder, Sébastien Loeb will also be present at the Rétromobile show as part of its 50th anniversary. For the occasion, rally enthusiasts – and more broadly motorsport enthusiasts – will be able to discover a unique five-day exhibition on the FFSA stand, in Hall 1, centered around emblematic racing cars from his career.
