The 2022 world vice-champions of rally-raid (W2RC) have topped the table seven times, which has not happened since Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz (Volkswagen) in 2011. Above all, they stole a 34-year-old record from Ari Vatanen and Bruno Berglund, thanks to a series of six scratch times in a row! Sandy tracks in the heart of the country? No problem, the 4×4 Hunter assembled by the English from Prodrive and entered under the banner of Bahrain Raid presented as the main course of this 45th edition, enhanced with a marathon stage without external assistance? Once again it was the Hunter who was the strongest in this inhospitable environment. With a practically insolent success, there was no shortage of reasons to uncork the champagne (without alcohol in this country). However, Sébastien Loeb has once again failed in his quest to add the Dakar to his list of achievements
