In Dijon, the Tour Auto 2025 gets down to business

It was under the sun that the Tour Auto caravan headed to Burgundy for the first stage of a journey that will take it to Nice, the finishing city of this 2025 edition. As a warm-up, a first timed stage of 9,3 kilometers was organized on the roads of Serein, through the vineyards of Chablis. On these small winding roads, the first main course of this Tour Auto was quite hearty! It was the Dino 246 GT of Damian Pozzoli and Maria Cristina Egidy that came out with the best performance in the Regularity category. In the Competition category, Olivier Breittmayer and Pierre Sibille won at the wheel of a BMW M1 Procar.

While the Tour Auto allows you to discover magnificent cars in the picturesque settings of France, these beautiful machines also deserve to be tested on the circuit! The Dijon-Prenois circuit was therefore a must-see on this first stage.Eric Hamoniau and his co-driver Emmanuel Saussereau mastered the track as best they could, which has hosted some of the most beautiful stories of the F1 in France, with a Ferrari 250 GT. Not enough to significantly move up the overall standings in the Regularity category, still led by Pozzoli/Egidy. In Competition, it was once again the M1 Procar of Breittmayer and Sibille that climbed to the top of the standings, achieving a 2/2 finish at the end of this first day of the Tour Auto.

Once the competitors left Dijon-Prenois, they took the road to the Côte d'Or to reach the Parc Fermé, located at the Palais des Sports in Dijon. This Wednesday, they headed to eastern France, and this time, three special stages will be featured on the stage taking the competitors to Mulhouse. The Anneau du Rhin will welcome all the participants for another timed race on the circuit.
