It's day of Formula 1 at Le Castellet! The D26 is nothing more than a long, colorful string of roads, as it is at every major event of the premier discipline on the borders of the Var region. The last time the faithful converged en masse on the famous plateau was for the last F1 French Grand Prix held on the Paul Ricard circuit. That was in 2022, three years ago. Like last year at the same time, they felt the need to come together to rediscover a little of that lost magic. Seduced by the 2024 edition of the Grand Prix Historique, they returned this time in greater numbers and with greater enthusiasm.
As with the "modern" Grand Prix, they flocked to commune with this authentic Formula 1 for a weekend. An unvarnished, accessible, and economical F1, far from the extremely exclusive model offered by Liberty Media. An F1 experience at a lower cost, but not "cheap" either. Proximity replaces pomp, and the popular side takes precedence over glamour. A different experience, in fact! You don't come to the Grand Prix de France Historique to experience what you would come looking for at the "modern" Grand Prix de France.

50 years, 35 years of Auto-Hebdo and as many GPs (with my children for 13 years), 18 months of F1 on track as technical partner of Prost GP (with Jean Alesi in the team)... and here I am seized with emotion reading the report of the historic French GP with all these cars, all these drivers who made me dream, all these testimonies, this transmission... I can't believe how much this F1 has filled my life. Thank you Jean and thank you Hebdo!
