The 499P n°83 of the AF Corse customer team set the fastest time this Sunday morning during the first three hours of testing for the Test Day. Robert Kubica was the fastest with a lap of 3:27.010. Behind the car with the Prancing Horse, it was the Toyota #8, which placed second, almost a second behind (+0.990). Cadillac completed the podium with the #38 of the Hertz Team JOTA team, the one in which Sébastien Bourdais and Jenson Button, 1.481 seconds behind.
Good session for Aston Martin
Behind the Cadillac No. 331, fourth, the first Porsche completed the top 5 with the No. 6, just under two seconds behind the leading Ferrari. The first BMW, the No. 20, finished sixth, being the first prototype to be more than two seconds behind. The two factory Ferraris finished 7th and 8th. A good first session at Le Mans for Aston Martin with its Valkyrie, since the n°009 placed itself at the gates of the top 10, with the 11th place, at 2.408 seconds. With 40 laps covered, this car was even the one that showed the most diligence on the track this Sunday morning.
On the side of French manufacturers, the Alpine took 12th and 13th places. You have to go down to 19th and 20th to find the two Peugeot . Ghiotto in the wall, Akkodis in the lead of LMGT3
In LMP2, the #16 RLR M Sport Oreca set the benchmark time of 3:36.593. CLX Pure Rxcing and the #43 Inter Europol car completed the podium. The only major accident of the morning was the Polish team's other car, with Luca Ghiotto going off the track. Contact was also recorded at the first corner between Tom Blomqvist (CLX Pure Rxcing) and Michelle Gatting (Iron Dames), without any damage.

In LMGT3, the French team Akkodis ASP confirmed its strong start to the season with the fastest time for the No. 87 Lexus RC F in 3:57.109. The No. 296 Ferrari 21 from the Vista AF Corse team, driven by Frenchman François Hériau, was second, ahead of the other car from the Japanese manufacturer.
