CrowdStrike Racing by APR confirms its driver lineup for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an official Porsche driver

George Kurtz's team returns to the LMP2 Pro-Am class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, fresh from their victory in the Asian Le Mans Series in January. The CrowdStrike CEO will compete as a Bronze driver alongside Alex Quinn and Porsche factory driver Laurin Heinrich.

This is a trio to watch very closely in the LMP2 Pro-Am category in the upcoming races. 24 Hours of Le MansCrowdStrike Racing by APR has revealed the identity of the crew who will share the wheel of the #04 ORECA 07-Gibson in Le Mans on June 13 and 14.

Billionaire George Kurtz, founder and CEO of CrowdStrike, will return as a gentleman driver for his fourth participation, once again with Algarve Pro Racing, now renamed CrowdStrike Racing by APR. Kurtz's team earned an invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans by winning the Asian Le Mans Series title earlier this year, thanks to Kurtz himself, Louis Délétraz, and Malthe Jakobsen. Both the Dane and the Swiss driver already have commitments lined up for Le Mans: Jakobsen in the Hypercar class with Peugeot and Delétraz in LMP2 with AO by TF.

So it is with other drivers that George Kurtz will take to the track. The businessman, who recently acquired a stake in Mercedes Benz F1 by buying back some of the shares of Toto wolff, will be partnered by Alex Quinn for the second consecutive year. The Briton is one of the leading drivers in LMP2, where he won at Daytona earlier this year and is a two-time runner-up. ELMS and in 2024 2025.

Third place goes to the official driver Porsche Laurin Heinrich. Champion IMSA in the GTD Pro category in 2024, the German made his debut in WEC He competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year in Bahrain (14th place), but he has never actually raced there. Relatively inexperienced in LMP2, Heinrich will have to adapt to the ORECA 07-Gibson, as he is more accustomed to Hypercars and GT cars.
