Are we going to have rain for the second year in a row in 24H of Le Mans ? A few hours before the start of the 92nd edition, the Sarthe weather could have some surprises in store for us this weekend. According to the latest forecasts from Météo-France (made this Saturday 15/06 at 9 a.m.), the race could partially take place in rainy conditions.

Indeed, rain could appear even before the start of the race, with light showers forecast from 13 p.m., three hours before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The rain would return in the early evening, around 18 p.m., with a fairly strong wind and gusts of wind around 55 km/h.

If the weather will be very cloudy during the night, the weather should hold until the next morning, with the return of heavier rain in the early morning around 6 a.m. Sunday. The final hours of the race should take place in overcast weather, but with no rain expected between 9 a.m. and 16 p.m.

As for temperatures, the thermometer should display 17°C at the time of departure. During the night, the mercury should not drop below 13°C, while we will reach the maximum on Sunday afternoon with a forecast temperature of 20°C on arrival.
