After being presented to the public during the weigh-in over the last two days and then during a parade in the streets of the city, it is on the track that the 62 cars expected at the start of the 92nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans are expected this Sunday for Test Day.

It will be difficult to establish a real hierarchy at the end of this day, but it will always be interesting to note the first chronometric data or the number of laps completed for each. It is also important for the Rookies present today, who will have to complete 10 laps to be eligible for the race next weekend. Some, like the champion IndyCar in title Alex Palou, are exempt from Test Day, because they are present at other meetings across the globe. These exempt drivers will still have to complete five laps during the first official practice session on Wednesday.

The Test Day is divided into two stages: a first practice session starting at 10:00 a.m. and which will last until 13:00 p.m. Then a second from 15:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. A day to follow live with commentary below. Live timing is also available HERE.

18h11 - La Peugeot #93 seems in slow motion.

18:10 p.m. – 🟢 Green flag, the Safety Car procedure has been shortened!

18h04 - While we are in the last half hour, the ranking should change little, due to the Safety Car procedure, which still takes a little time to be completely carried out. Both Porsche Penske, the No. 6 and the No. 4, are still in the first two positions, ahead of the No. 8 Toyota.

18h01 - 🟡 Safety Car now.

16h58 - ❓ Weaned from victory since the 24 2023 Hours of Le Mans, the Ferrari 499P, however, showed good things in qualifying and in the race in 2024. While Porsche dominated the start of the season, wouldn't the Italian manufacturer ultimately be the favorite to take over? ⬇️

Ferrari, favorite for its own succession at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

I felt it was better than in previous years when we came for Test Day, with a bit of resurfacing. I felt comfortable in the car and did the important laps, so thanks to the team and Cadillac for their efforts. I knew this weekend would be busy anyway and I tried to make the best of the situation.
