Théo, how are you experiencing this first contact with the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the Weighing?

The number of people there is is quite impressive. I came to the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the Test Day, to see it with my father. I also started the race, I followed it at the Ford chicane, that was already something. It's very impressive, but I didn't know there were so many people from the start. And then it's very long. It's not a race weekend, it's a week and a half of racing, so it's quite impressive. But I can't wait, I can't wait to race.

LM P2 is also a new season for you, with the Algarve team likely to be in with a good result. I imagine you're coming with ambitions?

Yes, of course, we have big ambitions. Afterwards, for me, it's my first 24 Hours of Le Mans, I have so much to learn, I don't know the track, it's such a legendary track that I know the corners, I know where it turns and everyone knows Le Mans, but I've never ridden on it so it's a very complicated track. I did a lap of the track yesterday on my bike and if the grip is quite low on the first tests, the kerbs are a bit limited. There isn't much run-off in some places. It's a beautiful track but it's going to be complicated so I'm looking forward to gaining experience from the Test Day (this Sunday. Editor's note). And then I think we can aim for a good result. We were really unlucky in the first two races ofELMS, but it's going to be up to us to put everything together. And it's still much longer. It's 20 hours longer than an ELMS race, so a lot can happen.

I have the impression, Théo, that there is a kind of greed to do these new things since last year here, now the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

Yes, of course, it's exceptional. Last year, we saw each other at the Indianapolis 500, I couldn't ride, now we see each other again at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, I can ride. I like big events like that! It's true that it's still fun. So it's a race I've always wanted to do, I've always dreamed of doing it. It's a race I dream of winning. We'll see next Sunday, but it's my dream!
