For this first appearance at 24 Hours of Le MansGenesis Magma Racing retains the visual identity developed around the GMR-001 Hypercar project, while further emphasizing its DNA. The livery features a particularly aggressive design, blending the iconic colors of the Magma program with orange hues inspired by molten lava, contrasted by darker elements reminiscent of volcanic rock.

This livery also aims to bridge the gap between its production models and its racing program. The Korean manufacturer has incorporated several signature design elements, starting with the famous "Two-Line" lighting signature found on its road vehicles. The design also includes references to the Korean script Hangeul, with the word "magma" already visible on the initial prototype versions.

A livery requested by fans

A livery that had already been seen during the christening of the GMR-001 and which seems to have won over the brand's supporters. Luc Donckerwolke (creative director at Genesis) explains that he took into account the numerous positive comments received since its presentation: Fans and supporters enthusiastically expressed their admiration for the Magma orange livery unveiled last year, and as always, Genesis takes their feedback into account. " explains the Belgian.

This visual identity occupies a central place in the Korean manufacturer's sporting project. This is our greatest opportunity to showcase the Genesis and Genesis Magma Racing identity to the world through competition. Since the team's inception in December 2024, Magma has been a key element of our name and identity. " explains the former boss of Renault F1, Cyril Abiteboul, on the occasion of the project presentation.

Genesis will participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time in its history this year. Three French drivers will be eager to represent Korea. Mathys Jaubert will be at the wheel of the #17 car, while Paul-Loup Chatin and Mathieu Jaminet will be in the #19.

Some people make a buzz by winning races, others by doing coloring.
