Yannick Dalmas and François Perrodo honored at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Dalmas, who is the only driver to have won the general classification with four different manufacturers (Peugeot in 1992, Porsche in 1994, McLaren in 1995 and BMW in 1999), will be the Grand Marshal. His role will therefore be to wave the green flag at the start of the formation lap, and thus lead the 62 crews towards their quest for glory, for 24 hours. This role of Grand Marshal is not to be confused with that of honorary starter. The personality who will have the honor of waving the tricolor flag at the start of the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is not yet known.

François Perrodo was named as the winner of the Spirit of Le Mans trophy. The amateur driver, entered in Endurance for more than ten years, and winner at Le Mans in GTE Am in 2021 and in LM P2 Pro-Am in 2024, is now one of the key figures in the world of motor racing. The Spirit of Le Mans trophy, which was awarded in 2024 to Deborah Mayer, rewards personalities who best symbolize the values ​​of endurance and motor racing: involvement, commitment, teamwork and sporting effort.
