It was in a packed VIP box at the Daytona International Speedway that the Sant'Agata Bolognese (Italy) firm chose to organize a press meet-up. The start of the 24 Hours of Daytona was given a little over three hours ago when the group of journalists selected by the firm transalpine sat down on sofas opposite Stephan Winkelmann (president of Lamborghini), Rouven Mohr (technical director) and Maurizio Leschiutta, a BMW transferee and replacement for Giorgio Sanna, who was ousted from his post as head of motorsport in March 2024.
