  • The end of the race of the 4 Hours of Sepang, opening round of the 2024-2025 season of the Asian Le Mans Series, was breathless until the finish line. In the lead, Tristan Vautier (RD Limited) had to resist the return of Matthieu Vaxiviere (AF Corse). The two Frenchmen put on a magnificent show on the last lap. Vaxiviere thought he had given his team victory by overtaking Vautier in this final loop, but the Isérois believed in it until the end and continued to put pressure on his compatriot until the last bend. With success, since the Limoges rider turned too wide in this bend, opening the door to the black and red prototype. Vautier took advantage of the opening to take back the lead and reach the finish line first despite a final attack from Vaxiviere.
  • It was a perfectly successful start for Romain Dumas' team, which was competing in its very first LM P2 race this Saturday with Tristan Vautier, Fred Poordad and James Allen. The trio was therefore just ahead of AF Corse's, made up of Matthieu Vaxiviere, François Perrodo and Alessio Rovera. Pure Rxcing, for what was also the first LM P2 race for the reigning GT3 world champion team, completed the podium with Louis Delétraz, Harry King and Aliaksandr Malykhin.
  • Another Frenchman distinguished himself in GT3 with the victory of Esteban Masson. The young 20-year-old driver won his category at the wheel of the Ferrari 296 n°57 of Car Guy which he shares with the Japanese Yudai Uchida and the Brazilian Daniel Serra.
  • In LM P3, the Ligier JS P320 n°35 of the Ultimate team won with a crew composed of Stéphane Lemeret, Matteo Quintarelli and Bence Valint.
  • Join us this Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. (French time) for race 2 of the 4 Hours of Sepang.
