After a lively opening round in Barcelona, ​​dominated by the #29 Forestier Racing by Panis car, the European Le Mans The Series makes a stop in France for its second round, held at the Circuit Paul Ricard. For the first official test session at the Paul Ricard circuit, the fastest time went to the #28 IDEC Sport LMP2 car. Paul-Loup Chatin, Paul Lafargue, and Job van Uitert set the benchmark time of 1:50.086, just under two tenths of a second ahead of the #24 Nielsen Racing car, driven by Jack Doohan, Roy Nissany, and Edward Pearson.

While the podium was completed by the #43 Inter Europol Competition entry (Jakub Smiechowski, Tom Dillmann, Luca Ghiotto), the Barcelona winners were somewhat less prominent. The trio in the #29 Forestier Racing by Panis entry, composed of Esteban Masson, Oliver Gray, and Louis Rousset, had to settle for the 8th fastest time, nearly half a second off the pace.

In LMP2 Pro-Am, the benchmark time went to the trio of the AF Corse #83, driven by Frenchmen Mathieu Vaxivière and François Perrodo, accompanied by the official driver.
