  • Leading at the halfway point, Iron Lynx – Proton lost everything in the third hour. Fresh out of the pits, Matteo Cairoli lost his right front wheel with just under an hour and a half to go. Moments later, Job van Uitert (IDEC Sport #28) was sent packing by Luca Ghiotto (Inter Europol Competition), triggering another safety car intervention.
  • The first driver to take the slicks, Ferdinand Habsburg, took the lead for Nielsen Racing before diving back into the pit lane after the race restart. After several stops by other competitors, Mathys Jaubert (IDEC Sport) took the lead ahead of a field of LM P2 Pro-Am cars led by the No. 77 Proton Competition car, but the latter would have to pay for a drive-through in the coming minutes.
  • M Racing continues to dominate the LM P3 category, while the Mercedes Iron Lynx #63 is in charge of LMGT3.
