Promoted to Porsche factory driver, Laurin Heinrich made a particularly impressive start to the season with victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and then the 12 Hours of Sebring. Before joining the Hypercar program in the 963, the German had distinguished himself in GT3, notably winning the GTD Pro drivers' title in IMSA in 2024.

« I am extremely excited to be making my ELMS debut with High Class Racing, Heinrich confides. With Dennis and Anders, we make a solid crew, and I hope to bring all my GT experience to the table. Even though this is my first season in the series, the goal will be to fight at the front and achieve good results. »

High Class Racing is well acquainted with the demands of the championship. The team competed in the ELMS between 2017 and 2020, initially with a Dallara P217 and then an ORECA 07. Andersen and Fjordbach achieved several podium finishes, starting with their first races at Silverstone and Monza in 2017.

Since then, the team has expanded its motorsport program by integrating GT racing into its activities, alongside its prototype commitments. In 2026, High Class Racing will also compete in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with Porsche, a series in which the team has already shone with a second-place finish at the Bathurst 12 Hour. In the longer term, this LMGT3 program reflects a clear desire to return to... 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 2026 European Le Mans Series season will begin from April 10 to 12 at the Barcelona circuit, which will also host the Prologue on April 6 and 7.
