Relief for Pourchaire, a confirmed program and participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Theo Pourchaire can breathe, it will indeed roll in 2025. After waiting for many months, the Tricolore has finally received the good news. And as expected for a few weeks, it is towards theEndurance that the 2023 champion of Formula 2 turned to this new challenge.

This one will see him prove himself in ELMS where the Grasse native will discover LMP2 for the first time in his career. He will indeed complete the crew of the Oreca 07 N°25 of Algarve Pro Racing whose first two drivers, Matthias Kaiser and Lorenzo Fluxá, were already known. This turn taken a few months ago when he was named reserve of Peugeot en WEC will take Théo Pourchaire to Le Mans where he will compete in the 24 Hours for the first time in his career.

« I am very happy to join Algarve Pro Racing in ELMS and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, rejoices the person concerned. This is my first season in Endurance, which is very different to the single-seaters I am used to, and I am looking forward to getting started in Barcelona for the first round of the ELMS. (April 6).

Racing at Le Mans has always been a dream of mine and it will definitely be the highlight of the year. Being able to compete in the 24 Hours with such a strong team, who have already won the race (in Pro-Am), is going to be great. I am sure we can fight for a good position. We will give our best and work hard to win the ELMS title and another victory at Le Mans. »

So here is Théo Pourchaire at the dawn of a new adventure, he who was looking to relaunch after a 2024 campaign that was to say the least agitated. It is therefore in Endurance that he will now prove himself, definitively leaving behind him the Single seat ? At least until 2025.
