What is your state of mind when heading to Florida? 

Impatient ! It's not every day that we witness the revival of a discipline, and many people have been waiting for this moment for quite some time. I am convinced, we are going to have a great season, with manufacturers who have never been so present and a large number of cars entered in the premier category. It’s going to be a great motorsport celebration! Sebring offers that little “plus” of grouping together at the same meeting WEC et IMSA (1000 Miles on Friday, 12 Hours on Saturday. Editor’s note); which is really special.

Is Porsche partage votre impatience après sa déconvenue de Daytona ? 

We must not lose sight of the fact that Daytona was only the starting point of the adventure, and that we must work. As long as we are in a testing period, it is always difficult to define where we stand in relation to the competition. Thanks to Daytona, we have a better overview. We know the points we need to focus our attention on. Everyone is very motivated. The WEC team has only been formed in the last few weeks, but that doesn't stop me from having great confidence in them. We are at the very beginning of our learning curve, the goal being to gain momentum throughout the year.

Did the ordeal highlight problems that the firm had not previously addressed?
