Disqualified following post-session technical checks, the No. 31 Cadillac ceded pole position to the No. 55 Mazda.

24 Hours of Daytona – Mazda promoted to pole in the qualifying race

Si Felipe Nasr took pole position yesterday in the qualifying race for the 24 Hours of Daytona, the Brazilian saw his No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-VR downgraded following post-session technical checks.

Second time yesterday afternoon, the No. 55 Mazda of Oliver Jarvis regained pole on the green carpet. This evening, at 20:05 p.m. French time, the unique RT24-P will start in the lead with, at its side, the No. 5 Cadillac DPi-VR of the trio Tristan Vautier-Loïc duval-Sebastian Bourdais. The No. 31 Cadillac will start from sixth row.

As a reminder, the 100-minute qualifying race will pit duos against each other. Find below the starting grid and the identity of the drivers requisitioned for the occasion.
