Action Ewpress Racing maintains the lead in the 24 Hours of Daytona shortly after the halfway point. Porsche struggles against Ferrari in GTLM.

24h Daytona – Action Express remains in the lead after 13 p.m.

Action Express Racing leads the 24 Hours of Daytona after 13 hours of racing. At the wheel of the No. 31 Corvette DP, simon pagenaud ahead of the sister car #5 of Joao Barbosa which has one stop less.

Chip Ganassi Racing completes the leading trio with the No. 01 Riley Lance stroll which is ahead of the #90 of Visitflorida.com Racing driven by Marc Goossens and the #10 of Wayne Taylor Racing of Rubens Barrichello. The first LMP2, the Ligier JS P2 ESM of Johannes van Overbeek, is in sixth place.

After a good start to the race, the DeltaWing was seriously damaged in an accident where Andy Meyrick hit a stopped LMPC on track. The DWC13 has not left.

The No. 4 Corvette of Marcel Fässler closely follows this duel for the lead in the category. The #100 BMW retired after Lucas Luhr went off the track at the first corner. Ford is also struggling with its two GTs suffering from mechanical problems which are beyond the top 30.

Chris Miller leads the PCs at the wheel of the No. 85 for JDC Miller Motorsports. Frank Stippler leads the GTD in the Frikadell Racing 911 GT3 R.
