24H Daytona – Allmendinger leads the tests

AJ Allmendinger set the best time on the first day of testing at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Winner of the previous edition last year, the American took advantage of a drying track to achieve a time of 1'42"918 at the wheel of the No. 60 Ford-Riley of Michael Shank Racing. “The track was a little wet. The trajectory was mostly dry, but if you put a wheel off you could easily destroy the car. This was not necessary during the first 30 or 40 minutes of testing. You had to be patient. »
