- Carried by a Kamui Kobayashi In a state of grace, the Cadillac n°40 of the Wayne Taylor Racing team finished the seventh hour of the 24 Hours of Daytona at the top of the standings. The Japanese driver, who had climbed up from ninth place and had made some classy moves, handed over the wheel to Louis Delétraz.
- Starting from pole position, the BMW n°24 now driven by Raffaele Marciello is in second place. Leading during the first hour, the car from the German manufacturer has lost places after several mishaps, including a drive-through and a puncture, but remains in contention for a potential victory.
- Cadillacs are in a strong position in the top positions of the ranking. Brendon Hartley is in fact in fourth place at the wheel of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing car, just behind Jack Aitken in the No. 31 Action Express Racing car.
- The first Porsche completes the top 5 of this seventh hour with the n°7 driven by Nick Tandy.
- In LM P2, the pilot Peugeot Malthe Jakobsen leads the category with the No. 07 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 04.
- Kelvin van der Linde leads the GTD Pro field in the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW.
- Starting from pole position, the #120 Wright Motorsports Porsche continues to dominate the GTD class with Tom Sargent at the wheel.
