ALMS: Corvette, chasing BMW

Three races and three BMW victories, that can't go on any longer. Fast since the start of the American season Le Mans Series, the C6 ZR1 fails to undermine the dominance of the firm's propeller-driven vehicles. This weekend, in Mosport, Canada, Doug Fehan's troops will be keen to shine, hoping that this bad luck which made them fall at Lime Rock will not be part of it this time.

“The entire circuit is difficult, underlines the Dane Jan Magnussen. We will approach this event with a good car, on a track which seems to suit the strengths of the Corvette. »

The Pratt&Miller team also has revenge to take on last year. The race was stopped following an accident which severely damaged the safety rails, while Corvette Racing was fighting for victory. “If the race had restarted, we would have been in a good position, continues Magnussen. I can't wait to go back to set the record straight. »

The last victory of Oliver Gavin and Jan Magnussen dates back to last October, at the Petit Le Mans. On the other hand, Olivier Beretta and Tommy Milner allowed Corvette to return to victory in the Sarthe last June. To avoid seeing BMW fly towards the titles, we will have to win this weekend in Canada at all costs.
