ALMS – And four for Muscle Milk at Mosport

Just like in the last three editions, Muscle Milk Racing won at Mosport, in Canada. The #03 HPD ARX-6c shared by Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf was not worried for a single moment in the LM P1, the #12 Dyson Racing Lola B60/16 driven by the duo Chris McMurry and Tony Burgess was not finishing only 6th overall, more than 7 laps behind the winners. As for the Deltawing n°0 of Andy Meyrick and Katherine Legge, it will have only completed 16 laps?

Mike conway was unable to make it in the LM P2, for its first appearance in the ALMS. The Briton, hired by Level 5 Motorsports to replace the injured Ryan Briscoe, nevertheless started in pole position. But in the end it was the sister car, the HPD ARX-03b n°551 of his teammate Marino Franchitti which came to claim the final victory in the category. The poleman will be satisfied with a 3rd place in category, 4th overall.

In the LM PC, victory went to the Jonathan Bennett pair? Colin Braun entered at the wheel of the No. 09 Oreca FLM05.

Very good fight in GT

On the other hand, the fight was magnificent among the GTs. As is often the case this year, the battle for 1st place continued until the checkered flag. While a real duel took place between the Vipers and the Corvettes, it was ultimately the latter who had the last word: Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner, in the American GT n°4, having resisted to the end to the SRT Viper GTS-R n°91 by Dominik Garnbacher and Marc Goossens.

It was just as tight among the GTCs. MacNeil and Bleekemolen won their class aboard the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup n°22 with only 2?32 ahead of the n°45 of Canache Jr.? Pumpelly. Patrick Dempsey and his teammate Andy Lally finished 4th.
