ALMS – Flying Lizard enters GTC for 2013

Les deux pilotes ont disputé les 24 Hours of Le Mans several times with the American team and have solid experience in ALMS. “With the end of Porsche's support in the development of the 997, it was clear that we had to think about something else for 2013”, explains Eric Ingraham, the Flying Lizard Team Manager. “The team will continue to race at a competitive level and the GTC was a logical choice with our long history in 911s.”

Flying Lizard Motorsports will introduce a customer program for the 911 GT3 Cup models for the first time. “Our GTC trip will also allow us to share our Porsche experience with customers who wish to drive at a professional level in ALMS GTC or in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge », adds Eric Ingraham. “This category is reserved for Porsche 911 GT3 Cups. There are no differences between several manufacturers and the regulations offer more choice of settings than in GT. This offers a particularly high level of competition. To be successful, teams must know how to manage driving performance, race strategies, stops, set-ups and general preparation. »
