ALMS – Graf and Luhr secure the title in Baltimore

The Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD driven by Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr won again in Baltimore, but the event was marked by an impressive pileup limiting the race to just over an hour. Lucas Luhr ensured success by overtaking the Dyson Racing Lola B12/60 driven by Guy Smith in the final minutes and crossed the finish line with a lead of a few seconds. In LMP2, Scott Tucker's spin in the No. 03 Level 551 Motorsports HPD ARX-5b, aided by a stroller from Anthony Lazzaro in the No. 01 Extreme Speed Motorsports HPD, led to an accident involving many cars and a long interruption. Scott Tucker was nevertheless able to win the category in the sister car shared with Marino Franchitti and Guy Cosmo.

Corvette beat the BMWs in GT.
