ALMS – Muscle Milk on pole at Lime Rock Park

In the absence of Rebellion Racing, Muscle Milk Pickett Racing took pole ahead of Dyson Racing. Level 5 Motorsports is at the forefront in LMP2 while BMW takes the lead in GT.

ALMS – Muscle Milk on pole at Lime Rock Park

Lucas Luhr took pole at Lime Rock Park with a time of 44 on the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD. The Lola B396/12-Mazda of Dyson Racing, the only real rival of the No. 80, failed by eight tenths with Chris Dyson. The DeltaWing only took 6th place on the grid, Andy Meyrick failing more than four seconds behind the reference time. In LMP12, it's Ryan Briscoe (who also competes in the round ofIndyCar in Pocono) who was responsible for placing the first HPD ARX-03b from Level 5 Motorsports at the top of the category with a time of 46 »191. Colin Braun set the best time in the LMPC in the #09 FLM05 with which he set a time of 48.

The BMW Z4 GTEs lead the GTs. John Edwards took pole with a lap completed in 50”996 with a tenth lead ahead of the sister car driven by Maxime Martin. The Corvette C6 ZR1s of Oliver Gavin and Antonio Garcia complete the top five in the category, being separated by the Ferrari 458 Italia of Risi Competizione driven by Olivier Beretta. Flying Lizard Motorsports secures the GTC pole with a time of 55”155 set by Spencer Pumpelly.
