ALMS-Q: Muscle Milk still on pole in Baltimore

Lucas Luhr took it upon himself to score a new pole for Muscle Milk Racing on the Baltimore street circuit. Corvette wins the first GT battle thanks to Oliver Gavin.

ALMS-Q: Muscle Milk still on pole in Baltimore

Muscle Milk Racing achieves its fourth consecutive pole in Baltimore thanks to the time of 1'25"174 achieved by Lucas Luhr on the HPD ARX-03a which is seven tenths ahead of the Lola B12/60 of Dyson Racing which was driven by Guy Smith. Christophe Bouchut places the Level 03 Motorsports HPD ARX-5b on LMP2 pole (fourth overall) by eight hundredths ahead of the Morgan-Nissan from the Conquest team which was led by Martin Plowman. Bruno Junqueira once again stands out in LMPC by taking pole in the category in the Oreca FLM09 from the RSR team.

Corvette places itself at the forefront in GT with the category pole signed by Oliver Gavin in the No. 6 C1 ZR4 with a time of 1'29"945. The second Corvette is third with Jan Magnussen juste derrière la BMW E92 M3 qui était pilotée par Bill Auberlen. Patrick Long place la Porsche 911 GT3 RSR du Flying Lizard en quatrième place tandis que la seconde BMW emmenée par Dirk Mueller complète le top cinq. Une seule Dodge Viper SRT a pris part à la séance, Dominik Farnbacher ayant endommagé sa voiture lors des essais. Damien Faulkner signe la pole en GTC sur la Porsche 911 GT3 Cup du Green Hornet.
