Aston Martin is ready for Sebring

The official team Aston Martin is participating this weekend in the 12 Hours of Sebring in order to best prepare the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only one car will be entered for Harold Primat, Stefan Müke and Adrian Fernandez, for whom this will be their first appearance in the race at the wheel of the car.

“I am delighted to participate in the 12 Hours of Sebring with Aston Martin, declares the Mexican. I have a lot of experience in the LMP2 category. But the Aston LMP1 is something else again.

Mücke, for his part, knows the car perfectly, behind the wheel of which he was crowned LMS champion last year. But the Sebring route is something new for him.

" I can not wait to be there, admits the former pilot of DTM. Sebring is a unique circuit, a legendary name. »

Best time in the Winter Tests in February, the three drivers were able to take control of a car which has been modified since last year in order to meet the new regulations. Georges Howard Chappell is confident:

“I am convinced that Adrian, Stefan and Harold will do a great job. Sebring is one of the most difficult races we will face this year, especially because of the level of our opponents. »

Indeed, Aston Martin will cross paths in Florida with the Lola of the Intersport and Drayson teams as well as the two Peugeot 908 official. The task promises to be very complicated.
