BMW confirms its crews for 2020

BMW Motorsport crews entered for the next seasonIMSA are now known.

Recently retired from DTM, Bruno spengler will race in one of the two M8 GTLM alongside Connor de Phillippi who has been defending the interests of the German manufacturer since last year. The Canadian takes the place of Tom Blomqvist. Colton Herta and Philipp Eng will join them for the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 25 and 26.

The second BMW M8 GTLM will again be entrusted to John Edwards and Jesse Krohn who will be accompanied by Augusto Farfus and Chaz Mostert for the double round of the clock in Florida.

“This will be our 12th year of collaboration with BMW Team RLL and we will also have great continuity with our drivers”, commented BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt, who also thanked Tom Blomqvist for his services.

BMW finished 3rd in the Manufacturers' standings among the GTLMs this year, finishing 3 points behind Chevrolet.
