There was little doubt that Felipe Drugovich would compete in the Daytona 24 Hours with Action Express Racing, given his presence at pre-season testing this weekend in Florida. It is now official, as Cadillac announced this Saturday that the Brazilian will participate in the opening round of theIMSA, on the V-Series.R bearing the number 31. The 2022 champion of Formula 2 will therefore make his debut in the American championship on January 23, he who had already driven for Cadillac and Action Express Racing during the 24H of Le Mans in 2024. “I’m really excited to be here in Daytona for the first time, Felipe Drugovich rejoices. Action Express Racing and Cadillac have given me the opportunity to participate in my first 24 Hours of Le Mans and now they are offering me the chance to participate in another legendary 24-hour race, the Daytona in January 2025. I hope to help the team and my fellow drivers live this exciting and unforgettable experience, starting with these tests. I feel privileged and happy to be here.

Vesti will replace Bamber at Laguna Seca

At Daytona, he will therefore support the two regular drivers for the season, Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn, as well as Frederik Vesti who will compete in the rounds ofEndurance Cup as well as the race at Laguna Seca, due to a date clash with the WEC (6H of Spa) for Earl Bamber during the same weekend. “I can't help but smile to be honest, confided the Dane after the second day of testing at Daytona, he who continues to learn at the wheel of the American LMDh. It was a good experience to work with Cadillac for the first time in Bahrain, but it’s really great to start working with Action Express Racing and the whole Cadillac family in the United States. I’ve been looking forward to starting this program for several months and here we are finally. These first few days have been very positive. I feel confident and comfortable in the car, which is not always easy when you take on a new car.”

And of course, you don't mention Sébastien Bourdais who seems to have been excluded by Cadillac and finds himself with nothing for the future. You are as unethical as the Team who has been boycotting Sébastien Bourdais for a long time.
