Chaz Mostert entered at Petit Le Mans with BMW

Chaz Mostert will trade his Ford Falcon from Supercars for a BMW M8 GTE the weekend of October 10 to 13. The 26-year-old Australian driver takes advantage of the clash of dates between the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Fuji (Japan) and the final of DTM in Hockenheim (Germany) this same weekend, where all the official BMW drivers will be requisitioned.

 

Chaz Mostert will discover the championship on this occasion Imsa via one of its flagship sleeves, Small Le Mans on the Road Atlanta circuit (Georgia) with Team Rahal Letterman Lanigan (Team RLL). “It’s an unmissable opportunity. My Supercars team (Tickford Racing) worked seriously to organize my travel schedule so that I would be back in Australia for the Gold Coast race”, explains the Antipodes pilot on the Supercars website.

BMW Motorsport driver, Chaz Mostert previously took part in the 1 km of Paul-Ricard (Var) in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at the end of June (11th). « We feel a little tired, but it opens your mind, because these are different situations, different competitions. We never stop learning and going around the world is really exciting! »

 

Chaz Mostert is currently ranked 10th in the Supercars championship and scored his first podium of the year in Ipswich (Queensland) at the end of July.
