Chip Ganassi returning to IMSA with Cadillac?

Five-time Grand-Am champion, six-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona and winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2014, Chip Ganassi Racing is working – according to our information – on a return to IMSA next year, a series that the Charlotte team left at the end of 2019 following the end of the Ford GT program.

The idea would be to field a Cadillac DPi-VR throughout the entire campaign for a crew that remains to be determined. An addition which would be excellent for the DPi category, which must deplore the departure at the end of the current financial year of Team Penske and one of the two Mazda RT24-Ps.
