Dane Cameron will support Olivier Pla in 2021 at Meyer Shank Racing

Meyer Shank Racing will rely on a solid duo to drive its Acura ARX-05 next year in IMSA. After having confirmed Olivier Pla several days ago, and as we mentioned at that time, Dane cameron was chosen to support Toulouse throughout the 2021 season.

Having spent the last three years through the official Acura program in association with Team Penske, the American, double champion in 2016 and 2019 (not counting a GTD title in 2014) will bring all his experience of the DPi prototype to Meyer Shank Racing.

“It was really exciting to be part of the development of this car from the very beginning, admits Cameron, 32 years old. It won races and the championship in 2019. I will definitely do my best to bring everything I have learned about this car to the team and make sure MSR gets up to speed quickly. »

Aj Allmendinger is expected to drive alongside Pla and Cameron at Daytona.
