Derani and Nasr confirmed at AXR for 2021

Still mathematically in contention for the championship title IMSA 2020, Felipe Nasr and Pipo Derani have been confirmed by Action Express Racing for the 2021 season.

Associated since the start of the 2019 campaign, the two Brazilians are today perhaps the benchmarks of the peloton in terms of pure performance. Having come close to the title last year, they are still in the running for the crown this year before the 12 Hours of Sebring, which will close the current campaign on Saturday.

But above all, last year they achieved the feat of winning two of the three great classics on the calendar, namely the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

The ex-Sauber driver F1 Team and the three-time winner of the Florida clock tour are therefore leaving for a third season in the No. 31 Cadillac DPi-VR. It's the British Mike conway, who is playing for the title of world champion this weekendEndurance in Bahrain, who will support them in long races. As a reminder, Filipe Albuquerque – who held this position this year – is leaving for Wayne Taylor Racing. The Portuguese is also replaced this weekend at Sebring by Gabby Chavez due to a date conflict with the 8 Hours of Bahrain.
