Two farewell liveries for the Porsche 911 RSR at Sebring

Pour ce qui sera la dernière course du programme officiel de Porsche en GTLM en IMSA, the two official 911 RSRs which will be driven this weekend at the 12 Hours of Sebring by Frédéric Makowiecki, Nick Tandy, Laurens Vanthoor, Earl Bamber and newcomer Neel Jani, will feature two specific liveries.

The German firm's cars will see their bodywork incorporate elements of the American flag, namely the red stripes and the blue rectangle decorated with 50 stars representing the different states making up the United States. The word “Thank You” will also be affixed to the back of the rear wing, but also to the rocker panels of the 911 RSR.

A decoration which extends the lineage of Porsche tribute liveries, after the Brumos, 911 GT1, Coca-Cola or even “Pink Pig” and Rothmans versions seen in recent years, both in IMSA and in WEC.
