Extreme Speed displays its ambitions

It is with undisguised ambitions that the American team Extreme Speed Motorsports is preparing to compete in its second season in American Le Mans Series. Boss-driver Scott Sharp has given himself the means to achieve his ambitions, and has recruited for the 12 Hours of Serbing and Petit Le Mans two drivers whose reputation in Endurance, and in particular at the wheel of Ferrari, no longer needs to be done.

So, if we were surprised last week by the replacement of Rob Bell by Colin Braun at Robertson Racing, we will find the Briton in Florida on March 19. The double Le Mans Series champion will indeed support Ed Brown and Guy Cosmo in the 458 n°02. On the sister car, sporting the number 01, Dominik Farnbacher will lend a hand to the usual duo Scott Sharp – Johannes Van Overbeek.

Convincing last year for its first season in the discipline, the Extreme Speed Motorsports team hopes to play spoilsport this year, in a GTE category at an increasingly high level.
