IMSA – Two Lexus RC F GT3s in 2017 for 3GT Racing

After the arrival of the Acura NSX GT3, entrusted to Michael Shank Racing, the GTD category of theIMSA Sportscar Championship will also be able to count on the presence of the new Lexus RC F GT3 in 2017.

Formerly known as F Performance Racing, Paul Gentilozzi's 3GT Racing team will enter two examples of the Lexus, and has confirmed the presence of drivers Scott Pruett and Sage Karam.

A regular at Prototype events in recent years, notably with Ganassi, Scott Pruett has a long-standing relationship with Lexus, having driven prototypes powered by the brand in Grand-Am, and led the development of the car which is currently passing the approval.

At his side, Sage Karam comes from the sector IndyCar, and competed this year in the Indianapolis 500 on behalf of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing after having competed in 2015 under the Ganassi colors.

Two more drivers will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
