IMSA – Fässler and Rockenfeller return to NAEC with Corvette in 2018

Corvette Racing has confirmed that Marcel Fässler and Mike Rockenfeller will be returning to three of the four North American Endurance Cup events in 2018: Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

IMSA – Fässler and Rockenfeller return to NAEC with Corvette in 2018

A few hours after announcing the renewal of his Antonio Garcia – Jan duets Magnussen and Oliver Gavin – Tommy Milner for all the events of the 2018 GTLM season in IMSA, Corvette Racing has confirmed its two reinforcements for the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

Marcel Fässler and Mike Rockenfeller, already lined up last year by Corvette Racing for these three endurance rounds of the season, will be called upon again. Rockenfeller supported the reigning champion tandem Garcia – Magnussen in 2017, when the former Audi Sport driver in LM P1 was reinforcing Milner – Gavin. The same compositions will be kept in 2018.

Rockenfeller took part in the victory of the No. 7 Corvette C3.R in GTLM at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
