IMSA – Hunter-Reay with Wayne Taylor Racing at Petit Le Mans

Ryan Hunter-Reay will return to Wayne Taylor Racing for the final of theIMSA to Small Le Mans (Georgia) on October 7. The usual resident of Andretti Autosport will return to the American team with which he won second place with Jordan Taylor and Max Angelelli. Ricky Taylor will this time complete the crew in the Championship-leading Cadillac DPI VR before the Monterey Grand Prix (California).

“I have remained close to the team since our performance at Daytona, whether it was with Wayne, Jordan or Ricky. The team has done an incredible job this season, winning five times and leading the championship from Daytona.", comments Ryan Hunter-Reay.

Ryan Hunter-Reay will replace Alex Lynn who was originally due to reinforce the crew at the Road Atlanta circuit, but the Briton was unable to make himself available due to a conflict of dates after sharing success at the 12 Hours from Sebring (Florida) last March.

“I always thought Ryan was one of the best American drivers and he had success with us in the past. He knows his mission is to secure the title for Ricky, Jordan and the team. Everyone appreciates him within the team”, assures Wayne Taylor, the director of the team of the same name.

“We will test with him Tuesday and Wednesday at Road Atlanta so he gets his bearings on the Cadillac DPI VR, which shouldn't take much time”, adds Wayne Taylor.
